Haga de la Paternidad un Placer

(Make Parenting a Pleasure)

The Douglas County Early Childhood Planning Coalition presents a free 10 week parent education class for Spanish speaking parents of children birth to 8 years of age. Parents are the foundation of the family and their children's most important guide and teacher, and need to be equipped and empowered with effective skills to meet the challenge. The course covers nurturing and effective parenting startegies by gaining a greater understanding of child development, stress management, positive approaches to discipline, and practical communication and listening skills. Come build a rapport with other parents and learn to develop your own support network.

Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the 10 week program.

Dinner will be served.

NOTE: This class will be taught in Spanish.
