Make Parenting a Pleasure

Course #34827

The Douglas County Early Childhood Planning Coalition presents a free 10 week parent education class for parents of children birth to 8 years of age. Parents are the foundation of the family and their children's most important guide and teacher, and need to be equipped and empowered with effective skills to meet the challenge. The course covers nurturing and effective parenting startegies by gaining a greater understanding of child development, stress management, positive approaches to discipline, and practical communication and listening skills. Come build a rapport with other parents and learn to develop your own support network.

Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the 10 week program.

NOTE: No class March 25, 2009
