Please join us for a FREE “Reading for Healthy Families” workshop!  Young children develop many language and literacy skills prior to learning to read, and parents can play an important role in encouraging this growth.  Come learn how to get your child ready to read.  Parents will learn: the six early literacy skills necessary for Kindergarten; the link between early literacy and success in school; to provide fun activities that develop early learning; and to make reading with young children fun.  Light refreshments will be served and participants need to make their own childcare arrangements.
